Interim & Annual Internal Auditing

SILC provides a simple and dedicated annual and interim audit service to all parish & town councils with a precept of £6.50m or less per annum.

Our audit service is competitively priced, thorough and supportive. We approach auditing as a 'critical friend' and favour an 'achievement' over 'admonishment' route to transparency and success in local government.

The Accounts & Audit Regulations 2015 require a relevant authority to undertake an effective internal audit to evaluate the effectiveness of its risk management, control and governance processes, taking into account public sector internal auditing standards or guidance.
